Overview
Associate or Full Professor, Economics (Tenured) – Tenured faculty position with a research emphasis in experimental economics. Preference will be given to candidates whose research combines experimental economics and AI methodologies. The faculty member will teach on campus at undergraduate and graduate levels, mentor students, lead the Economic Science Laboratory (ESL), participate in outreach, and contribute to departmental, college, and university service.
Our faculty research is published in leading economics journals and includes ongoing grant activity and national and international prizes. The department houses the Economic Science Laboratory (ESL) and the Institute for Behavioral Economics, and is supported by outstanding teaching and awards for teaching excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities- Perform significant and continuing scholarly research in experimental economics and AI methodologies, with publications in leading academic journals.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate programs.
- Lead the Economic Science Laboratory (ESL).
- Train and mentor doctoral students.
- Serve the university through committee work and other duties, supporting department and college needs and enhancing external stature.
Associate Professor
- Ph.D. in Economics or related field from an accredited institution.
- Evidence of considerable teaching success, high-quality publications, a strong research pipeline, and leadership experience.
Full Professor
- Ph.D. in Economics or related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience holding a tenured position in an accredited institution or equivalent qualifications in research, teaching, and service.
- Record of research combining experimental economics and AI methodologies.
