Position: Member Support Specialist (Call Center)

Overview

Member Support Specialist – Pima Federal Credit Union, Tucson, AZ, is looking to hire a full-time Member Support Specialist. MEMBER SUPPORT SPECIALIST POSITION

Our Member Support Specialists provide exceptional customer service to our members. This is a universal role in our call center, assisting members from start to finish. They promote financial products and services to improve members’ well-being, establish rapport, listen carefully, and recommend the best financial products and services to meet members’ needs. They are the voice of the credit union and help ensure members love banking with us.

This position handles telephone inquiries, transfers, mobile and online support, product and service inquiries and recommendations, account maintenance, and member relationship building. The role may also assist with accepting loan applications via telephone. Members Support Specialists are expected to achieve individual and team goals and stay up-to-date on all credit union products and services. A passion for the value that credit unions offer is critical to promote our financial services to members enthusiastically.

Responsibilities

Process telephone inquiries and transfers; provide mobile and online support; handle product and service inquiries and recommendations; perform account maintenance; build member relationships; assist with loan applications by telephone as needed. Achieve individual and team goals and stay informed on credit union products and services.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of financial institution experience as a Teller, Member Service Representative, Call Center Representative, or similar role.
  • Call Center experience preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency with computers and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of Symitar (Episys) preferred.
  • Bilingual – English/Spanish (preferred).
