About
The Role
This brand-new Account Manager - Freeport position was created to meet the demands of our rapid growth.
In this role, you’ll be the face of Schlam for key Freeport accounts, building and expanding relationships, delivering tailored solutions and driving new business opportunities. You’ll proudly represent our Hercules Truck Bodies and Barracuda Buckets, products trusted worldwide for their performance and reliability.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Build Relationships:
Serve as the trusted partner for key Freeport accounts in the U.S. and Peru. - Drive Growth:
Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand our market share. - Deliver Solutions:
Match our Hercules Truck Bodies and Barracuda Buckets to customer needs for maximum results. - Represent the Brand:
Be a visible ambassador for Schlam at site visits, industry events and client meetings. - Collaborate Across Borders:
Work closely with our Americas and Australian teams to deliver innovative, client-focused solutions. - Own the Results:
Meet and exceed sales targets while keeping CRM data accurate and up to date.
- Strong knowledge of Freeport operations in the Southwest USA and/or Peru.
- Proven track record in B2B account management within mining, mobile equipment manufacturing or capital equipment sales.
- In-depth knowledge of mining equipment, including truck trays, buckets and haulage systems.
- Skilled in negotiation and cost analysis.
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working with product lifecycle and operational planning teams.
- Ability to interpret GA drawings and technical specs.
- Familiarity with mining market trends, competitor activity and emerging technologies.
