Our ideal candidate will have a strong mix of strategic thinking, design sensibility, and writing ability to support marketing, business development, and proposal activities within a Tucson, AZ office.

• Proposal/Presentation Development:
  Partner with pursuit teams to advance positioning, develop persuasive proposals and presentations, coordinate strategy development, messaging, formatting, proofreading, graphics coordination, editing, quality reviews, compliance, brand adherence, and timely production. Collaborate with proposal developers for production support.
• Client Development Support:
  Provide strategic business development support, assemble information packages, plan client workshops and events, maintain marketing files, and lead in the development of client capture plans.
• Business Development Support:
  Plan key conferences to maximize presence, connect with and represent Shive-Hattery in the community, and assist leadership in go/no-go decisions, evaluating pursuit alignment with the firm’s strategic BD plan and goals.
• Marketing Information:
  Contribute to process improvements, maintain qualifications statements, project descriptions, and resumes; conduct market research as needed; collaborate with proposal coordinator for production support.

Success in this role favors the highly organized who can prioritize multiple concurrent tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

• 5+ years of experience in proposal and presentation planning and coordination, page layout, tailored content drafting, graphics development, and editing, or equivalent experience.
• Highly proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Strong interpersonal and proactive communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or related field; graphic design background is a plus.
• Experience with Del-Tek VantagePoint, Open Asset, Bluebeam, CoPilot AI, PowerPoint, and Excel is a plus but not required.

• Compensation Range: $82,000-$105,000 per year
