Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager

Description We are looking for a meticulous and highly skilled Accountant to join a dynamic healthcare organization in Tucson, Arizona. In this role, you will manage a range of financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry-specific regulations. Responsibilities:

- Oversee the full cycle of accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll management.

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with healthcare regulations.

- Manage month-end closing activities, including reconciling accounts and maintaining the general ledger.

- Develop and monitor budgets to support effective financial planning and organizational goals.

- Handle tax filings and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal requirements.

- Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making across departments.

- Utilize accounting software, such as MAS
90, to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

- Conduct bank reconciliations and journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.

- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address financial inquiries and provide solutions.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting operations. Requirements

- A minimum of five years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing

- Proven expertise in general ledger accounting and financial reporting.

- Proficiency in accounting software, including MAS
90, Net Suite, Quick Books, SAP, and Oracle.

- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.

- Experience with month-end close procedures and account reconciliations.

- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial operations.

- Effective communication abilities to collaborate with teams and present financial information.

- Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations and compliance standards is highly desirable
