Marketing Accounting Specialist role supports the Marketing and Finance/Accounting teams by coordinating vendor invoice workflows, facilitating co‑branded marketing payments, and providing responsive support to internal branches/departments and external vendors.
Responsibilities- Organize and submit invoices, receipts, and statements from vendors to Accounts Payable.
- Create and send payment links to real estate agents for co‑branded marketing orders.
- Answer phone calls and/or emails from branches, departments, and vendors regarding invoices and accounting questions.
- Track and document requests using a ticketing system and associated software.
- Communicate with employees about missing receipts and ensure proper follow‑up.
- Request W‑9s from vendors when required and forward them to Accounts Payable.
- Support various teams within Marketing and Finance & Accounting with projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in the mortgage industry preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
