Staff Accountant

Permanent Staff Accountant – Tucson, AZ

Salary $50,000 - $70,000 per year.

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
• Conduct regular audits to identify and rectify discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP in all accounting operations.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting procedures and refine financial data analysis processes.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the engineering industry.
• Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, auditing, and GAAP.
• Exceptional numerical proficiency and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
