Our staff accountant is primarily responsible for monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, account analysis, preparation of sales and use taxes, modified business tax, business personal tax reporting, and business license renewals. This position reports to the Assistant Controller.

Journal Entries and Month End Processing
:
Assist in the preparation of journal entries and data entry for monthly financial statement processing. Assist in month end closing activities.

Daily Income Journal Activity
:
Prepare, balance and post daily income journal activity. Perform quality control and review of daily income journal.

Daily Retail Inventory Adjustment Activity
:
Prepare, balance and post daily retail inventory journal activity. Perform quality control and review of daily retail inventory journal.

Account Reconciliations
:
Reconciles balance sheet accounts, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, accrued liabilities, prepaid expenses, and bank reconciliations.

Actively demonstrates Canyon Ranch service standards and Ethos principles with staff and guests.

Starting pay is $20 per hour and increases with experience level.

Limited experience required (1-2 years previous experience in same or related field).
