Entry Level Technician

Job Overview

Campers Inn RV is looking for an Entry Level RV Technician to join our team. Ideal candidates have construction, plumbing, electrical and/or roofing experience. No experience necessary—bring your curiosity and aptitude for learning, and we will provide the training. We provide free basic tools for you to keep after 12 months of employment.

With our in‑house technician training program, you will learn valuable on‑the‑job skills right away. This role assists in the diagnosis, inspection, adjustments, and repairs for recreational vehicles, including travel trailers.

• This is a safety‑sensitive position.
• Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment.
• Assist in inspecting and testing for defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to fit the unit.
• Assist in repairing and maintaining plumbing, electrical, and/or HVAC components.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

  Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Experience: No experience necessary.
• Abilities:
  • Communicate effectively.
  • Read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Use a variety of hand tools and power tools.
  • Comply with OSHA regulations (protective clothing/equipment).
  • Safely use solvents and other chemicals.
  • Move RVs of various sizes.
  • Organize physical tasks (lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, etc.).
  • Stand for long periods of time.
  • Reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
