Job DescriptionResponsible for providing quality major and minor in-house repairs to the Reefer fleet in a timely and efficient manner, while adhering to Marten Transport, Ltd. policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:Skills and Abilities:
Must have EPA Certification and be able to present it upon request. Mechanical skills and aptitude are essential. Ability to demonstrate skills and knowledge through the company pre-employment exam. Must be able to read and write English and have basic computer skills. Ability to isolate and solve problems efficiently.
Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Ability to work various shifts and in all climates, including extreme hot and cold conditions.
Education and Training:High school diploma required; additional post-high school training is preferred. Alternatively, two or more years of experience in tractor maintenance.
