Data Analyst

We are seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our BI & Analytics team. This role will be instrumental in building and managing Power BI reporting solutions on top of our Snowflake data Lakehouse platform. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and our technical data infrastructure, transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across our organization.

• Partner with business stakeholders across business departments to gather requirements, define KPIs and metrics, and translate business needs into functional specifications
• Facilitate alignment between technical teams and business objectives through clear communication, requirements documentation, and stakeholder expectation management
• Conduct stakeholder meetings to prioritize analytical requests, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables meet business impact objectives

• Own the full lifecycle of Power BI reporting from requirements gathering, data discovery, and semantic model design through DAX development, visualization creation, testing, deployment, and ongoing performance optimization
• Build interactive dashboards with advanced features including slicers, drill-through, bookmarks, row-level security, and conditional formatting optimized for business user engagement
• Incorporate stakeholder feedback and iterate on reporting solutions to continuously improve analytical value and user adoption

• Conduct complex data analysis using SQL, Python, Power BI, and Excel to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that inform business decisions across construction projects, financial performance, and operational efficiency
• Develop enterprise-wide KPI frameworks and performance metrics that align with organizational strategic initiatives
• Proactively identify analytical opportunities that drive operational improvements, cost optimization, and revenue growth

• Ensure data accuracy, quality, and governance by implementing validation rules, performing gap analysis between Oracle ERP source systems and Snowflake datasets, and establishing data quality monitoring frameworks
• Maintain compliance with enterprise data policies, role-based access controls (RBAC), and multi-company data security requirements
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to define data refresh frequencies, transformation logic, and handling procedures for data anomalies

• Drive continuous improvement through automation of reporting workflows, development of reusable analytical frameworks and data models, and implementation of best practices for Power BI governance
• Create clear technical and business documentation including data dictionaries, report specifications, user guides, and process workflows
• Mentor junior team members on analytical methodologies, Power BI best practices, stakeholder management, and data modeling techniques

• Work collaboratively within a matrixed team structure with data engineers, business analysts, and IT professionals to deliver integrated analytics solutions
• Participate actively in team planning sessions, sprint retrospectives, and knowledge-sharing activities to foster continuous learning and improvement
• Contribute to the development of team standards, templates, and shared resources that enhance overall team productivity
