The Engineering Team Leader will provide leadership, direction, and performance management for distribution activities to direct reports within the Atlanta or Minola/Tucker Operating Headquarters. They will deliver safety leadership, budget management, construction scheduling, compliance measures, and contribute to reliability and capital improvement strategy in the Distribution Area. The role supports, develops, and trains new talent, supports engineering co‑ops, promotes strategic thinking about the overall workforce, and acts as a technical expert leading large‑scale high‑impact projects.

They will demonstrate world‑class customer service, participate in and lead distribution‑wide initiatives, projects, and committees, and participate in the supervisor on‑call rotation while leading local storm restoration efforts and both system and off‑system storm events.

• Engineering degree strongly preferred
• Professional Engineering license a plus
• MBA or Master’s Degree is a plus

• Excellent safety record and knowledge of Section "0"
• Three or more years of Distribution Engineering experience in a power Magazine company is required
• Proven time‑management experience involving multiple projects and customer requests
• Experience in SERP restoration efforts required
• Storm team leadership experience preferred
• Experience with engineering design, construction and maintenance, compliance, managing manpower, reviewing job estimates, and asset management in a power utility company
• Experience with IBEW covered personnel, system design experience, and serving on committees at a statewide level is preferred
• Previous experience designing and presenting large and-sided to higher level management for approval is preferred

• In‑depth knowledge of electrical distribution systems and associated requirements, practices and procedures
• Technical specialist proficiency required
• Customer‑service orientation with the ability to negotiate demands and match customer needs with company requirements
• Broad understanding of the company’s operations, policies, and procedures
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of TCMS, ARCOS, CSS, JETS and strong computer skillsानी proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to lead and develop a diverse workforce, maximizing team effectiveness and holding employees accountable to high expectations
