TITLE
Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

REQUIREMENTS
- Must have at least 3 years of prior ICU experience
- Current valid unrestricted Professional Nursing License (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association (must be completed within 6 months of hire)
- Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) certification (must be completed within 6 months of hire)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH) NIHSS certification (must be completed within 6 months of hire)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan and implement patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Perform after-hours recovery of post-operative patients as needed.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Orientation is every 2 weeks.
- COVID & FLU exemptions may be accepted after a declination form is submitted.
- Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start.
