Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with at least 3 years of ICU experience and an active AZ or compact RN license for a rural Arizona hospital assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 5-bed Intensive Care Unit serving critically ill patients of all ages

• Float required to ED, Med/Surg, or Pediatrics as needed based on census

• All shifts available

• Periodic after-hours recovery for post-op general surgery, pediatric, and OB patients

• Rural hospital setting serving a culturally diverse community

• Shared contractor housing may be available; application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start and housing is not guaranteed

• No pets or family members allowed in provided housing

• COVID-19 and flu vaccine exemptions may be accepted with signed declination forms

• Every two weeks orientation schedule

• Work within a supportive team of multidisciplinary healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license in good standing

• Minimum of 3 years ICU nursing experience required

• Associate Degree in Nursing required

• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association

• PALS, TCAR, and NIHSS certifications must be obtained within 6 months of hire

• Must complete required fingerprinting process prior to start
