Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Pediatric Acute RN for a night shift position requiring valid RN licensure and advanced life support certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute pediatric unit within a hospital setting

• Night shift schedule from 1800 to 0630

• 13-week assignment

• Serves a diverse regional patient population including Native American communities

• Position located in a rural area in Northwestern Arizona

• Must complete fingerprinting prior to start as part of compliance

• Orientation is provided every two weeks

• COVID-19 and flu exemptions may be accepted with a declination form

• Shared housing may be available for $600/month, pending availability, with no family or pets allowed

• A housing application is required two weeks prior to start date

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team serving a culturally diverse rural population

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted RN license from any US state, territory, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico

• Minimum of 3 years recent pediatric nursing experience required

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required

• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association required

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)

• Complete Pediatric Trauma Care After Resuscitation (P-CAR) within 6 months of hire
