Exciting Opportunity for ICU Registered Nurses!Join our dynamic team, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to critically ill patients in a culturally rich community. Here’s what you need to know about this fulfilling position:
- Location: Northwestern Arizona, serving the diverse communities of the Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute tribes.
- Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with opportunities to FLOAT to Emergency Department, Med/Surg, or Pediatrics as needed.
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients of all ages, including post-op recovery for various surgeries.
- Nursing Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of responsible nursing procedures requiring professional knowledge.
- Independently complete assignments following doctors' orders and nursing policies.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of medical professionals.
- Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of prior ICU experience.
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Current unrestricted RN license to practice in the United States.
- Maintain certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from American Heart Association.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire.
- Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within 6 months of hire.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within 6 months of hire.
- Shift Information: All shifts available.
- Holiday Coverage: Yes, required.
