** Exciting Opportunity for a Clinical Nurse in the Perioperative Unit!** *
* Job Description:
** - Join a dynamic healthcare team serving a culturally rich community in Northwestern Arizona.
- Provide exceptional care for perioperative patients through the nursing process:
- Assessments - Formulating nursing diagnoses - Planning interventions - Evaluating outcomes - Work in a collaborative Operating Room environment with opportunities to circulate in various specialty areas, including:
- Orthopedics - ENT - GYN/OB - General - Ophthalmology - Dental - Gain valuable experience by obtaining Scrubbing expertise.
- Possibility of working varied hours and preparing for emergency cases on short notice.
** Licenses/Certifications
Required:
** - Valid, unrestricted Professional Nursing License (any state in the U.S.) - Current certifications in:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (to be completed within 6 months of hire) - NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) (to be completed within 6 months of hire) - Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) (within 1 year of hire) - Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) (within 2 years of hire)

** - Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing - Minimum of 3 years clinical nurse and/or operating room practical experience
** Shift Information:** - 10 hours per day, 4 days a week (weekdays) + on-call availability
