RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide perioperative nursing care for surgical patients

• Circulate in all specialty areas including Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Dental

• Work varied and odd hours when on call

• Prepare for emergency cases on very short notice

• Scrubbing experience is highly encouraged

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required

• Minimum 2 years clinical nursing and/or operating room experience required

• Valid RN license from any state accepted (Arizona license not required)

• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association

• PALS from American Heart Association within 6 months of hire

• NIH stroke scale certification within 6 months of hire

• CNOR certification within 1 year of hire

• TNCC within 2 years of hire

• Orientation provided every 2 weeks

• Limited shared housing available at $600 per month (no family or pets allowed)

This JCAHO accredited healthcare facility serves a 4,400 square mile area as a referral center for western Navajo and Hopi Reservations. Built in 1975 with a 73-bed capacity, the facility provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including emergency care, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery, and urological procedures. Approximately 49% of surgeries performed are outpatient/ambulatory procedures, with a diverse medical staff including surgeons, specialists, and comprehensive nursing teams.
