Job Description
Pride Now, the light industrial staffing division of Pride Global, is hiring a Production Control Floor Support professional to serve as manufacturing’s first line of support for planning and material‑related escalations on the production floor within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
This role is critical to maintaining smooth production flow by addressing material shortages, monitoring inventory, coordinating material delivery, and supporting manufacturing teams in a fast‑paced, high‑volume operation.
What You’ll Be Doing- Serve as the primary point of contact for planning and material flow escalations on the manufacturing floor
- Track, elevate, and mitigate material shortages to minimize production delays
- Request and monitor STOs and update manufacturing systems to ensure uninterrupted production
- Create de‑kit production orders to support potentially idle systems
- Analyze demand priorities and re‑prioritize work to support critical builds
- Investigate production order variances as a final quality check to reduce scrap and material loss
- Utilize SAP to cost parts, transact and transfer materials, and investigate material flow issues
- Coordinate with Project Services and Engineering to secure required materials
- Provide guidance and training to new team members
- Support manufacturing teams with questions related to SAP, material flow, documentation, and processes
- Complete monthly safety trainings and consistently follow safe work practices
- Experience in a manufacturing operations environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment
- Proven problem‑solving skills with the ability to make accurate, timely decisions
- Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented, cross‑functional environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience troubleshooting material flow, inventory issues, or production planning challenges
- Be a key contributor to production continuity and operational success
- Work in a collaborative manufacturing environment with cross‑functional exposure
- Gain hands‑on experience with SAP, material planning, and production control operations
