Lightspeed’s Senior Operations Manager is a collaborative role that requires a hands‑on approach and an analytical mind. This leader drives results, collaborates across teams, and ensures effective execution of the critical Operations functions that support our business objectives and overall strategy. The Senior Operations Manager empowers team leaders to deliver at their best, leveraging the talents of the team to deliver on our mission.

Primary Responsibilities- Develop and implement forward‑thinking Operations plans that support both short‑term objectives and long‑term strategy.
- Partner with executive leadership to support growth initiatives and cost optimization.
- Responsible for execution of strategy, building relationships, and excellent communication with major suppliers, both current and new.
- Own and optimize the use of the Company systems relied upon by the Operations Organization, such as ERP and PLM.
- Oversee and contribute to production, service, procurement, inventory, quality control, and warehouse operations, as well as supply chain processes and planning.
- Manage cost controls for the Operations Organization.
- Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions and operational risks.
- Work closely with our manufacturers to guarantee smooth production of high‑quality products in a timely, cost‑effective manner.
- Lead the Production, Service, and Procurement Teams with a deep understanding of business principles and metrics to achieve goals.
- Leverage the knowledge and skills of the Operations Organization to ensure execution of operations plans, including production schedule and capacity balancing, procurement, logistics, technical services, and tool and systems development.
- Collaborate closely with functional managers to align priorities, solve problems, and optimize workflows.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices across teams.
- Work closely with Finance, Engineering, Product Management, and Sales Support Teams to ensure operational alignment.

- 8+ years of experience in operations management, including warehouse operations, inventory management, supply chain, and logistics
- 5+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing
- Vendor and supplier management experience, including work with an overseas contract manufacturer
- Proven track record in ERP systems process optimization
- Proven track record as a senior leader with a demonstrated understanding of people management practices
- Able to travel approximately 10‑15%, including international travel
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- APICS certified
- Experience with third‑party logistics
- Technical customer service management
- CSD/Infor experience
