Sky Heating, AC, Plumbing & Electrical is looking for an experienced and motivated Residential HVAC Service Manager to join our team in the Portland Metro Area. With a longstanding presence in the community, we’re proud to serve homeowners with a focus on quality, integrity, and teamwork.
This leadership position plays a key role in overseeing the performance, growth, and day-to-day operations of our residential HVAC service department. We’re looking for someone who enjoys leading people, improving processes, and building a supportive environment where technicians can succeed and customers receive top-tier service.
What You’ll Do:- Lead and support the residential HVAC service team with a focus on customer service, employee development, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor individual and team performance, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Oversee ongoing technical training to ensure product knowledge, and workmanship are consistently met or exceeded.
- Facilitate weekly team meetings to review performance metrics, reinforce expectations, and promote a positive, safety-conscious culture.
- Collaborate with dispatch, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure smooth daily operations and prompt service delivery.
- Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and workload distribution to meet seasonal demand and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Track departmental KPIs and identify areas for continuous improvement.

- 5+ years in a supervisory or management role in the trade industry.
- Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems.
- Proven ability to mentor and lead service technicians while fostering a positive team culture.
- Familiarity with Service Titan or similar field service software.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass background and drug screening.
