The Global Finance Group drives financial strategies based on expert understanding of Lam's breakthrough technologies, the semiconductor market, and the global business environment. They manage our company's financials and relationships with our investor community to ensure we have the strong financial foundation to fuel innovation and growth.

We are actively seeking candidates for a full-time exempt position. As a critical team member, the successful candidate will be part the Global Operations Finance team providing strategic and analytical financial guidance to the Order Fullfillment Management team within Lam's Global Operations. This position plays a key role in preparing and managing the operating expenses, headcount, capital expenditures, and overall financial control and SOX compliance of the Order Fullfillment organization.

The ideal candidate will provide financial support and expertise to the Company’s Global Operation function (Order Fullfillment) including financial forecasting, analysis, capital planning, accounting support and high levels of Business Partnering with key executive decision makers.

• Interacting with Business Partners supporting the Order Fullfillment forecast cycles:
  • Supporting, analyzing, and assisting in the preparation and review of QXR operating expense budgets, forecast and providing spending analysis
  • Developing budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plan and modeling tools
  • Analyzing actual operating expense results and identifies key financial and operating issues to be addressed; quantifies actual results versus forecast
  • Preparing QxR related presentations to help summarize spending and actual vs. forecast analysis and HC summaries in a comprehensive and easy-to-understand format
• Business partnering and decision support activities related to Order Fullfillment
• Preforming monthly/quarterly close processes and activities
• Performing Balance Sheet account reconciliations and analysis, fixed asset accounting and audits, accrual calculations, and other related accounting documents/schedules
• Assisting with requests related to internal/external audits and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance as needed
• Initiating and engaging in continuous process improvement

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, MBA preferred, with minimun 7-10 years of Finance experience supporting a manufacturing environment, business unit or division

• Solid financial and accounting skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and in a matrix environment
• Must be a self-starter, able to multi-task and work independently
• Strong technical abilities, including advanced Excel and experience with SAP/Power BI, Work Day Adaptive
• Good analytical, organizational, planning and initiation skills
• Must be able to work well with people and promote a team environment
• Consistently demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills to collaborate and build positive relationships with other Finance teams as well as other organizations to effectively make recommendations, implement process improvements, etc.
• Strong business skills and effective understanding of a manufacturing environment and the associated financial processes
• Ability to effectively analyze transactional level detail in an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, preferably prior SAP experience
• Ability to multi-task, flexibility to reprioritize tasks in a constantly changing environment and completion of responsibilities by deadlines
