Reporting to our Branch Manager, the Driver will support the local branch. The CDL A Driver is responsible for the transportation of non-hazardous and hazardous waste materials via multiple vehicle types including but not limited to Roll-Offs, Tankers, Box Vans, Air Movers, etc. The Driver also performs tasks under the direct guidance of a supervisor including non-emergency and emergency response activities involving confined space entry such as manholes, tank cleaning, oil spill cleanup, drum handling, decontamination, sweeping and shoveling, high pressure washing and various other remedial activities.

• Ensures health and safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and always acting in a safe manner.
• Adheres and documents all transportation compliance requirements including inspection reports, mileage logs, trip reports, etc.
• Predominately anticipated local driving but may require some out-of-town travel.
• Loads and unloads their loads.
• Operates light and heavy equipment including skid steers, forklifts, pressure washer, preferred. Provides administrative support to operations team.
• Wears personal protective equipment (PPE) properly and adheres to all safety procedures.
• Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions.
• Works in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces, and at heights.
• Operates light and heavy equipment, not limited to forklifts, aerial lifts, boom lifts, skid steers, excavators, pressure washers, pumps, and other company work vehicles.
• Attends mandatory training to earn certifications and obtain information specific to responsibilities.
• Ensures all proper paperwork is signed and submitted.
• Works “on‑call” based on a rotating “on‑call” schedule for emergency responses. May require out‑of‑town travel. Length of travel will vary, based on service center and ongoing project requirements.
• Complies with ongoing and random drug testing and physicals as required by the company and our clients.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Hazmat transportation including placarding and manifesting.
• Must be able to get to/from the job site.
• Demonstrates accountability and punctuality.

• High school Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• At least two years of CDL A driving experience.
• CDL A
• No manual or airbrake restrictions.
• 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.
