We are looking for dedicated employees to join our team to help our customers have the best experience possible every time they enter a DTLR store.

A Part-Time Sales Associate is expected to drive the selling efforts and customer relationships by excelling in customer service and selling techniques. Responsible for performing all daily store functions including: product merchandising, product sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. The key aspects of the position are customer service, sales, and teamwork.

• Display basic fashion and trend knowledge and satisfy customer needs by selling appropriate merchandise while maintaining DTLR standards and building relationships.
• Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
• Present a positive, energetic, outgoing impression to each customer while demonstrating a positive attitude toward the job and company.
• Comply with all company policies.
• Embrace service training and product programs.
• Ensure visual standards are followed, daily restock is completed, and adequate size runs are represented per visual directions.
• Help eliminate employee and customer theft.
• Maintain a neat and organized sales environment.
• Assist in keeping the store organized as directed by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not necessary.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Excellent command of English for effective communication with management, customers, and employees.
• Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and desire to work with customers in retail.
• Problem-solving, analytical, detail-oriented, flexible, communication, and interpersonal skills to provide excellent service, inventory control, and store maintenance.

• Ability to stand for extended periods; lift, carry, push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Work extended hours during critical phases; work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
• Reliable transportation is required.
