An established, independent engineering business is looking to add an experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to its growing team in Cornwall.

This is a stable, long-term opportunity with strong earning potential and genuine support for engineers on the ground.

The role:

Mobile role covering Cornwall, with approximately 60% refrigeration and 40% air conditioning work. You'll be working across retail sites, hospitality and a range of other commercial properties, carrying out reactive breakdowns and planned maintenance. The role is customer-facing, varied and focused on delivering high standards. The on-call rota is well managed and clearly structured.

What's on offer:

Salary £42,000-£48,000 depending on experience
Door-to-door pay
30 days holiday including bank holidays

PPE, uniform, specialist tools or tool allowance
Ongoing training and clear progression routes

What we're looking for:

Experience in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning

Valid F-Gas qualification

Full UK driving licence

Strong fault-finding skills and good health and safety awareness

Hydrocarbons, OEM training or CO2 experience would be advantageous but not essential.

on call is currently 1 in 4 with plans to be 1 in 6
