Industrial Electrician – Full Time

Devon
Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm (40 hours per week)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join a busy engineering team at a leading manufacturing site in Devon
. You’ll be responsible for maintaining key production equipment, ensuring high levels of plant availability through both planned maintenance and quick response to breakdowns.

• Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive electrical maintenance
• Diagnose and repair faults on 3-phase motors, control gear, lighting & low-voltage systems
• Support improvement projects and installation work across the site
• Maintain compliance with health & safety procedures and complete necessary documentation
• Work both independently and as part of a small, multi-skilled team
• Assist with cross-skilled mechanical and instrumentation tasks where needed

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Multi-Skilled Engineering (Apprenticeship trained)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Experience in an industrial or production environment
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Familiarity with PLCs and Variable Speed Drives (desirable)
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, or mechanical systems (advantageous)
• Full UK driving licence
• Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks
