Role Purpose
The primary purpose of the Field Sales Agent is to secure the company's growth through selling Wildanet’s internet service and associated products to potential future customers.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe Field Sales Agent is responsible for contributing to the wider team’s objectives and delivering their individual sales targets through cold calling at consumers’ homes. This will include upselling to higher sales packages (where appropriate), selling value added sales and being the face for the Wildanet brand.
Key Activities- Cold calling at customers’ home addresses throughout Cornwall & Devon to encourage individuals to join our quality service.
- Creating and nurturing your own leads pipelines, through meaningful conversations with customers.
- Answering customer questions about the features and benefits of our products and services.
- Updating and maintaining records and customer requirements through an automated sales system.
- Taking customer bookings for installations.
- Attending sales events across Cornwall and Devon.
- Participating in team meetings and training sessions.
- Travel throughout Cornwall and on occasion Devon.
- Managing potential resistance and rejection from customers.
- Exposure to all weather conditions as there is significant outside sales activity.
- Working pattern from 11am to 7pm and will include weekends and later evenings, over a rota system. Part‑time hours can also be provided to suit personal commitments.
Basic IT skills, with confidence to learn new systems.

- Ability to overcome customer objections.
- Customer‑centric, proactively creating a positive experience for the customer.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Confidence speaking to customers to build a relationship, identifying customer needs through conversation.
- Previous sales experience is an advantage.
- Experience of working in a target‑driven environment; performance is measured on secured sales.
- Functional Skills level 2 in Maths and English.
- Driving licence & access to own vehicle is essential.
