Sales Consultant

Join our team at Vistry Group in the Vistry Cornwall South West Truro hub. As a Sales Consultant you will carry out all aspects of the sales hub, take ownership of the sales process, maintain records, and deliver successful continual sales across sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain daily operations of the sales hub in accordance with the customer journey.
  • Own the sales process with customers, ensuring all stages are documented.
  • Generate and follow up on leads through telephone‑based business development.
  • Complete the sales process and close sales at all sites.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures, policies, and mandatory training.
  • Advocate the customer journey, exceeding expectations.
  • Conduct audits and maintain clarity of information records.
  • Collate detailed knowledge of house types, build progress, purchase assistance schemes, and customer options.
  • Sell additional customer extras and manage implementations.
  • Respond to cancellations and negotiate alternatives.
  • Coordinate with site teams to ensure accurate customer information.
  • Maintain sales arena, show homes, and site presentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience in a customer‑facing role delivering under pressure.
  • Track record of generating leads and completing sales via telephone.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets under pressure.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Strong negotiation, sales, and communication skills.
  • Good planning, organisational and administrative skills.
  • Patience and calmness under pressure.
  • Friendly, trustworthy, professional attitude.
  • Comfortable with multi‑channel communication.
  • Ability to handle complaints and difficult situations.
  • Interest in property and the housing market.
  • Driver’s licence and suitable vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel to all sales sites, including regional offices.
  • Willingness to work weekends.
Desirable
  • 5 GCSEs / GCE or equivalent including Mathematics and English at C grade or above.
  • Any A Level.
