Kenwyn Veterinary Centre is a dedicated Farm and Equine practice situated on Kenwyn Hill, just outside Truro. The location offers excellent transport links, with easy access to the newly upgraded A30 and Newquay Airport and walking distance from Truro’s city centre and mainline train station. Surrounding areas include beautiful north and south coast beaches and the Cornish countryside.

Our team includes six vets, one vet tech, one support technician, and a fantastic administrative team. We are proud of our compassionate and dedicated team, including a PhD and D  holder and a member working towards their CertAVP.

We are a purpose‑built RCVS accredited GP practice for farm and equine. Our compact service area lets us spend more time with clients and less time driving, while offering a range of advanced tools and technology, including an equine gastroscope, endoscope, battery‑powered digital X‑ray, XV3 ultrasound scanner, Equinosis Q lameness detection system, motorised dentistry kit, surgical laser, and in‑practice investigations and hospitalisation facilities.

You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. The rota includes one night on duty per week (1 in
5), one weekend on call every five weeks, and a half day off each week to support a healthy work‑life balance. Initial out‑of‑hours are not required for the first month, after which a fully supported transition to solo on‑call will be provided.
