The Department of Clinical Technology (DCT) manages the maintenance of medical devices for RCHT and CFT; the Technical support team, which is a team within DCT, provides selected medical devices, consumables, technical assistance, business and financial support to DCT technician's wards and departments across the 3 RCHT sites and CFT., To perform annual technical inspections, including function testing and electrical safety tests on various medical devices throughout the Royal Cornwall Trust and other external customers of the Clinical Equipment Management Service.

This work will also include some calibration checks, preventative maintenance and database verification and will be carried out under the guidance of the Team Leader.

Out-of-hours or weekend work may be required.
