Senior Eating Disorders Practitioner & FREED Champion

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker with 3+ years of experience in secondary care mental health environments to lead the FREED Pathway, a dynamic programme embedded within the Adult Eating Disorder Service in Cornwall.

• Lead a multidisciplinary team using a whole-team approach to deliver evidence-based assessments and interventions that promote engagement and recovery.
• Share in the clinical management of a defined caseload, ensuring service users receive focused, coordinated packages of care tailored to their needs.
• Develop strong interfaces with other services and agencies, fostering collaborative working to enhance outcomes.
• Supervise and support junior team members in line with Trust policy, promoting professional development and high standards of care.
• Work flexibly across the county of Cornwall.

• Professional qualification and registration as a Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist.
• 3+ years of experience working in secondary care mental health settings.
• Experience in clinical management and supervising staff.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to recovery-focused, person-centred care.
