Reporting to the Finance Manager / Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the monthly management accounts and provide financial insight to support manufacturing and operational performance.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis
• Cost accounting across production, including standard costing and variance reporting
• Analysis of manufacturing overheads, labour and material costs
• Stock valuation, WIP reporting and reconciliation
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Cashflow forecasting and cost control
• Partnering with production, supply chain and operational managers
• Supporting year‑end processes, audits and statutory reporting
• Identifying process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function

• Previous experience in a Management Accountant role
• Exposure to a manufacturing or production‑led environment
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, stock and variance analysis
• Good Excel skills and experience working with ERP / manufacturing systems
• Part‑qualified, qualified, or qualified‑by‑experience accountants considered
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with operational teams
• A proactive, detail‑driven approach with strong commercial awareness
