We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join a busy consultancy team.
This role offers the chance to take on technical leadership, delivering a diverse portfolio of structural projects across residential and commercial sectors.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver structural engineering projects from design to completion
- Undertake site visits and liaise directly with clients, architects, and contractors
- Provide technical leadership within the consultancy
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to their professional development
- Play a key role in the commercial success of projects and the wider business
- MEng or BEng in Engineering (Structural preferred; Civil considered with proven structural experience)
- 4 to 5 years consultancy experience
- Chartered or working towards chartership with the IStructE
- Strong technical design ability, analysis skills, and excellent written and verbal communication
- Commercial awareness and motivation to take responsibility beyond the typical senior engineer role
- Experience delivering Party Wall Surveys desirable but not essential
- Must be local, or within a commutable distance to the office
- Unrestricted right to live and work in the UK
- Salary in the range of £45,000 to £50,000 depending on experience
