Outsourced Accountant

Our client, a global medical device company, is seeking an experienced Outsourced Accountant to provide short-term, onsite accounting support. This engagement is designed to address near-term capacity needs within the finance organization and support core accounting operations during a high-demand period. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and able to step into a fast‑paced, regulated environment with minimal ramp‑up time.

This is a contract‑based, onsite assignment.

• Support month‑end and quarter‑end close activities
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account analyses
• Assist with accruals and intercompany accounting
• Provide support for audit requests and internal documentation
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control policies
• Assist with financial reporting deliverables and variance analysis
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with finance and operational teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong general ledger and month‑end close experience
• Experience with in manufacturing, healthcare, or medical device environments preferred
• Solid understanding of GAAP and internal controls
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or similar preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to work onsite and quickly integrate into an existing team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
