Maintenance Technician

Description

The Building Maintenance Technician at Old Greenwood is a journeymen level position. This position is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all fractional cabins, townhomes, grounds and other properties included in the Home Care Program.

MAJOR DUTIES:

Must utilize skills and proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, roofing, tile repair and grouting, appliance, audio/video troubleshooting and repair, electrical troubleshooting and repair, sheetrock installation and repair, painting and light vehicle maintenance.

OTHER DUTIES:
Additional duties will include receiving direction from the Maintenance Manager on special projects, activities associated to the Fractional Ownership, and other assignments that may fall under the Other Duties category.

Because of the fluctuating demands of the operation, it may be necessary that each employee perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your job, employees will be expected to help others when the occasion arises. Accordingly, employees may be expected to perform other tasks not specifically addressed above.

Hourly Rate: $24.00 per hour

Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled

Minimum Requirements

Any combination of education and work experience that allows the Building Maintenance Technician to perform their job at satisfactory level is acceptable. One way of obtaining these skills would be working in one or more of the building trades for a period of two or more years. Must demonstrate good communications and computer skills, including written and verbal. Must be motivated and a self-starter.

Have the capable of operating all tools required to perform the job in a safe and professional manner.

Must have knowledge and use of all tools and equipment required to perform the related duties, and a positive demeanor in talking and interacting with owners, guests, and fellow teammates.
