Matt began his electrical career in 1994, gaining hands‑on experience across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Over the years, he built deep expertise not only in electrical systems, but also in leadership, project management, and team development. His reputation for quality, precision, and integrity laid the groundwork for what Grounded Innovations would become.

Emily brings a strategic, behind‑the‑scenes approach to the business operations, focusing on systems, structure, and long‑term growth. Her leadership ensures the company runs smoothly, supports its team effectively, and stays aligned with its values. Together, she and Matt have built a skilled, mission‑driven team committed to delivering exceptional work.

What started as a small operation in Truckee, California, quickly grew through trusted relationships, consistent execution, and a people‑first approach. Together, Matt and Emily combined technical expertise with a long‑term vision: to build a company that delivers exceptional results while fostering a supportive, growth‑minded team environment.

• Can confidently interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to complete installations accurately and efficiently.
• Has the knowledge and skills to install, repair, maintain, diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems on both small‑and‑large‑scale custom projects.
• Stays cool under pressure, communicates clearly, and brings people together to get the job done.
• Thrives on structure and systems, but can pivot and adapt when it means making the customer happy.
• Has working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), local building codes, and safety regulations.
