Bring warmth to every cup and every crumb. The Baker/Prep Cook at Truckee Teas creates fresh, house-made treats and tea party food to pair perfectly with our teas.
Responsibilities- Prepare and bake pastries, scones, and other bakery items daily
- Make syrups, boba pearls, and prep ingredients for the tea bar
- Prepare tea party food offerings
- Prepare food menu items that are healthy inspired, tea infused and some British staples
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies
- Collaborate with the owner on new recipes or seasonal specials
- Enjoy early mornings and a calm kitchen rhythm
- Take pride in presentation and quality
- Are creative with flavors and seasonal ingredients
- Have experience in a bakery, café, or prep kitchen
