Job Description & How to Apply Below

Are you an accomplished Senior Dev Ops Engineer with a focus on AWS? Are you passionate about building and tuning growing SaaS platforms? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join Property Radar, a dynamic and fast-growing company.

At Property Radar, we are on a mission to provide small businesses with better access to the opportunities found in public records. We’ve been doing it for real estate investors, Realtors, mortgage brokers, home service companies, and others since 2007. We are broadening our customer base and looking to scale significantly.

As a Senior Dev Ops Engineer at Property Radar, you will be responsible for leading and executing cloud deployment projects as we modernize and extend our existing cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with other development teams to design and implement robust infrastructure solutions, and ensure optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency.

About You
  • You are a strong engineer used to enabling software-as-a-service engineering teams to move fast. You have proven expertise in cloud methodologies and know industry best practices. However, you balance speed with a deep understanding of cloud security principles and build sustainable platforms using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation. You use configuration management tools (e.g. Puppet, Ansible) to fill the gaps and automate the routine.

You are comfortable programming in Python and other relevant languages to get things over the finish line.
  • You want to be part of successful and fast-moving team. You communicate well in both synchronous (e.g. video calls, Slack) and asynchronous tools (e.g. Confluence, Jira). You strive to understand the underlying issue and work to propose and implement the best solution while listening and incorporating suggestions and feedback from teammates.
  • You want to make a difference. You understand the fastest path to your success, and ours, fundamentally depends on helping our customers, partners, and teammates succeed. We’re on a mission to help small local businesses grow through hyperlocal lead generation. You believe that’s important and can’t wait to help.
  • You get stuff done
. You know how to break projects down into meaningful tasks, document them, and move them across the board to done. You like to do things right the first time rather than having to do them two or three times. You document as you go, so that your teammates can stay up to date and in sync with your work.
  • You have a proven track record. You’ve delivered high-quality infrastructure enabling successful and scalable SaaS products. You have 7+ years of hands‑on experience building infrastructure for software applications particularly with AWS cloud infrastructure and services. You learned by getting an AS or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Things You’ll Do

Despite being founded in 2007, Property Radar still runs like a startup, so you'll get experience with a little bit of everything. That said, here are some things you'll do:

  • Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures on AWS, leveraging platform best practices and industry standards.
  • Provide proactive monitoring, management, and support for cloud environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
  • Lead and execute the migration of legacy AWS cloud workloads and services to AWS managed services, encompassing assessment, planning, design, implementation, and optimization phases. You are able help development teams containerize legacy services and applications.
  • Champion automation initiatives, develop and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions, and promote Dev Ops principles.
  • Build strong relationships with development teams, acting as a trusted advisor and technical expert. Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to optimize cloud environments, improve operational efficiency, and enhance service delivery.
  • Design and implement security measures, including network security,…
