Overview
1 PERMANENT Highway Maintenance Worker 1 (HMW1) or Highway Technician 1 (HT1), (Full Time) in Miami County
The selected candidates will be placed in the classification in which they meet minimum qualifications.
Responsibilities- You will serve the public and work to make the roads in Ohio safer.
- You will attend training to obtain CDL licensure; if not already a licensed CDL holder.
- You will perform highway maintenance activities, including flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, and mowing.
- You will perform snow and ice operations.

QualificationsHighway Maintenance Worker 1:
Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition and subtraction and basic reading, writing and speaking of common English vocabulary. Must obtain Class B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction.
Highway Technician 1:
Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition and subtraction, decimals, percentages and fractions; ability to read, write and speak common English vocabulary; 3 months training or 3 months experience in operation of basic equipment. Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction.
