Reporting to the Test Lab Manager, the Test Lab Shift Supervisor will own the testing process within the value stream for the 3rd shift. This role will concentrate on the performance, needs, and execution of the cell (Safety, Quality, Cost, Output, People). The role will take a hands-on approach in supervising hourly associates on 2nd Shift, aligning with 1st and 3rd shift supervisors regarding goals and priorities, and coordinating with functional support.

Shift: 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3P - 11P

• Day to Day
  • Work with Engineering Liaison to create a daily schedule and assign operators accordingly to meet it
  • Work with Quality and Test Lab I&F to improve processes within the cell to improve efficiency/eliminate rework
  • Work with 1st and 2nd shift supervisors on priorities and needs
  • Interface with Engineering to address testing needs and maintain schedules
  • Support Macro Plan activities throughout the year
• People
  • Direct the activities of operators, including training, discipline, safety, communications, and opportunity resolution
  • Create a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Lean Transformation
  • Partner with CORE / CI to support the site transformation journey

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
• 1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace
• 1 or more years of experience in Operations related Management roles (hands on supervision)

• Strong organizational, presentation and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft office products
