Production Supervisor - Chemical Manufacturer (35833)

An international chemical manufacturing company is currently searching for an experienced Production Supervisor to join their facility in the Troy, Ohio area. This is a full-time direct hire position with openings on multiple shifts.

Base pay range: $50,000 – $55,000 per year.

• Supervision of shift production associates; participate in hiring, training, performance reviews, disciplinary measures, timekeeping.
• Lead daily and weekly team meetings for associates and team leaders.
• Production planning and scheduling; assist in production process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety requirements (OSHA, etc.).
• Coordinate with all shifts and departments to ensure accurate completion, shipment, delivery of products.
• Creation of production documentation and activity reports for upper management.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Associate’s degree in an engineering field is preferred, OR equivalent work experience.
• At least 1-3 years’ work experience in production supervision or similar leadership in manufacturing.
• CPR / OSHA / First Aid certifications are a plus but not required.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of continuous improvement processes.
• Strong communication and leadership ability in a multicultural environment.
• This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. Duties may require intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle parts/equipment, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at waist, talk, hear. May also require close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision.
