HR Generalist – Manufacturing; Onsite | Troy, OH

We’re hiring a hands‑on HR Generalist to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation in Troy, Ohio. This is a fully onsite, plant‑based HR role, and candidates must live within a commutable distance to Troy, OH. No relocation package is offered.

This role has strong ownership of employee relations and benefits administration, partnering closely with plant leadership and an hourly workforce. It’s ideal for HR professionals who thrive on being visible on the production floor, supporting leaders in real time, and owning benefits and compliance in a manufacturing environment.

• Serve as the primary HR contact for employees
• Lead employee relations support, including investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution
• Own onsite benefits administration, employee education, and open enrollment support - not just admin support
• Partner with managers on performance management, attendance, and policy application
• Ensure HR compliance (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO) and accurate HRIS data
• Maintain a strong presence on the production floor and support plant operations

• 5+ years of HR Generalist experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Strong benefits administration background (open enrollment, life events, vendor support)
• Experience supporting a union workforce
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance

• PHR or SHRM-CP
• Multi‑shift or multi‑state experience
• High‑volume workforce support
