Rotational Development Program

Program Overview

The Professional Development Program enables recent graduates to develop skills and learn our business. Selected individuals progress through a rotational program covering Marketing, Project Management, Business Development, General Management, and Sales over approximately 24 months, with each rotation lasting about 4 months. The program is based in Troy, Ohio, and may require temporary relocation. Upon completion, candidates transition into a full-time sales/marketing role in one of several FEG business units.

• Learn about ITW’s business segments, model, and strategy.
• Participate in assigned training modules, classes, workshops, and complete all requirements.
• Understand and communicate features, benefits, value proposition, and cost of ownership for ITW food equipment.
• Assign projects during each rotation to enhance product knowledge and go-to-market strategies.
• Conduct all activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field.
• Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to travel 50%+ and attend trade shows, sales meetings, manufacturing visits.
• Willingness to temporarily relocate during rotations within the US.
• Relocatable at conclusion of the program to any U.S. location.
