Schedule
07:00 AM - 07:00 PM with on-call requirements for the STEMI team rotation, averaging 6-8 shifts per month which includes a full weekend (Friday 5:30 PM - Monday 7:00 AM).

Job Description
The Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse will work in both the procedural and prep-recovery areas for cardiac catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), and vascular studies. The nurse will be responsible for the work-up and recovery of cath lab patients in the prep-recovery area, as well as performing RN circulating duties for both cardiac cath and vascular cases.
Responsibilities

• Prepare and recover patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures.

• Perform RN circulating duties for cardiac cath and vascular cases.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care.

• Provide education and support to patients and families throughout the procedure process.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current New York State RN license.

• Certification in BLS and ACLS.

• Minimum of procedural cardiac cath lab experience required.

• Emergency STEMI team on-call experience preferred.
