RN — Registered Nurse – Med/Surg (Adults/Peds) – Part Time – Night Shift
Mercy Hospital Washington invites applications for a Part‑Time Night Shift RN position on the Medical/Surgical unit serving adults and occasional pediatric patients.

24 hrs/week (Part‑time) - Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Sign‑On Bonus: $13,000 for Experienced RNs; $10,000 for New Graduate Nurses
- Stay Premium Pay – up to $8/hr extra based on years of Mercy service
- Loan Forgiveness – up to $20,000 for new graduates

Our 30‑bed Medical/Surgical unit is a fast‑paced environment serving adults aged 18 and older, with 1–2 pediatric patients per month. The unit handles a broad range of medical and post‑operative cases, including orthopedic procedures (knees, hips, shoulders), general surgeries (appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resections), bariatric surgery, sepsis, pancreatitis, and stable pneumothorax.
We maintain a nurse‑to‑patient ratio of 1:6 and are supported by skilled Patient Care Associates to deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care.
Responsibilities- Use the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients.
- Maintain professional accountability for the provision of patient care.
- Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
- Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments.
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
- Perform duties consistently with Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards.
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Active RN license (state‑specific or compact)
- Meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Certifications:
ACLS, BLS (or within 30 days of hire), and any unit‑specific certifications as required - Physical: ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for prolonged periods, and bend, kneel, twist, squat as needed.
