Service and Support Technician (Industrial Battery Systems)

About the Role:

The Service and Support Technician provides hands-on technical service and customer support for industrial battery chargers and lithium-ion energy systems. This position focuses on troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining equipment while ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a technically skilled problem solver who enjoys working in the field supporting clients and improving system performance through proactive maintenance and expert diagnostics.

• Provide technical support and field service for industrial battery chargers and lithium-ion systems.
• Perform on-site diagnostics, repairs and preventive maintenance at customer locations.
• Assist with installations, commissioning and system start-ups.
• Document service activities, repairs and test results in the service management system.
• Collaborate with engineering, production and quality teams to resolve technical issues.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and communicate feedback to internal teams.
• Train customers on equipment operation, safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
• Maintain tools, test equipment and company assets in accordance with safety and quality standards.

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical support, maintenance or field service roles, ideally with industrial or battery systems.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills including use of multimeters and related tools.
• Solid understanding of electrical schematics, circuits and system components.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with a professional, solution-oriented approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with service documentation systems.
• Ability to travel domestically as required for on-site service calls.

• Experience servicing industrial power systems, energy storage or battery charging technology.
• Knowledge of lithium-ion technologies and electrical safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
