** The Employee Benefits Account Manager is responsible for providing continuous service to all employee benefits lines for new and existing clients and assisting the producer in retention of business.  Through servicing, develop a thorough knowledge of the accounts, becoming liaison between the insured, the Strategic Account Executive and/or Producer, or other departments within the agency and the carriers.
** How You Will Contribute:
*** Assist clients with general service and claims issues
* Manage the annual renewal process, executing the strategies defined by the Strategic Account Executive and/or Producer  + Prepare and submit complete, accurate employer applications and new case submissions  + Prepare accurate, understandable employee communication materials and videos  + Run open enrollment meetings, explaining benefits to client’s employees
* Manage annual timeline events, such as pre-renewal questionnaires/meetings, mid-year reviews and stewardship reporting, and compliance requirements, such as 5500 reporting and plan document updates
* Maintain client data and activities in BAM and save all applicable documentation in Image Right
* Ensure all required processes and procedures are followed correctly, including Insurance Operations (IO) requirements
* Assist Strategic Account Executives and Producers in retention of business by providing continuous daily service to our clients
* Assist Producers in winning of new business by attending prospect meetings and describing our service model
* Pursue a course of personal, professional development
** Licenses and

Certifications:

*** Life and Health License or ability to obtain with 6 months
** Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
*** Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a business or financial related discipline (preferred)
* 2-4 years of experience in Employee Benefits (preferred)
* High School diploma or GED
* Proficient with MS Office Suite
* Exceptional oral and written communication skills
* Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
* 1-2 years of experience in similar position
* This position requires routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are a requirement of this position.
