Job Description

This position will support a territory including Troy, MI, Rochester Hills, MI, and Port Huron, MI.

Summary

As a Business Development Supervisor, you will drive growth by identifying and acquiring new business opportunities. You will develop and implement effective sales strategies to reach and exceed targets. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and a results‑oriented mindset.

Effective January 2026, this will be a Non-MIP FT Sales Management position with an enhanced sales incentive plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and research potential clients through various channels
  • Generate new leads and opportunities through cold calling, networking, and outreach methods
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to leverage inbound leads and campaigns
  • Conduct compelling presentations to showcase products/services and the value proposition
  • Communicate benefits of solutions to potential clients
  • Understand clients' needs and tailor solutions
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of product components, design, features and benefits
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed targets
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with potential clients to secure new business
  • Close deals efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support
Qualifications
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a focus on new business acquisition
  • Strong understanding of logistics
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self‑motivated with a results‑oriented mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic work environment
  • Willing to travel
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • Applicants must be currently located in the same geographic area or willing to self‑relocate; relocation assistance not available
