Position: New York Area Manager, MWT| AT&T Authorized Retailer

New York Area Manager, MWT| AT&T Authorized Retailer

Millennium Wireless Technology, Inc. invites applications for the New York Area Manager, MWT| AT&T Authorized Retailer role. This full‑time position is based in the New York Market and offers a competitive base pay with unlimited commission potential.

Base pay: $68,201 – $140,289 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the successful operation of 2 to 3 AT&T retail locations.
  • Build and maintain a culture of winning and live the organization’s core values.
  • Provide positive leadership to create a friendly work environment for customers and employees.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales and customer service expectations in each location.
  • Minimize losses to the company by meeting or exceeding operational standards.
  • Focus on sales and revenue‑generating activities daily.
  • Conduct at least four in‑person store visits per location per month, including evenings and weekends, and provide detailed recaps.
  • Recruit, staff, and manage all positions in the assigned market.
  • Hold monthly one‑on‑one meetings with Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers to review performance.
  • Coordinate training, conference calls, and meetings to share best practices.
  • Communicate usage of store performance metrics and recognize top performers.
  • Support MWT and AT&T B2B, First Net, and MDU initiatives.
  • Communicate with customers, partners, and colleagues via phone and email.
  • Partner with HR to enforce company and AT&T policies.
  • Deliver a monthly new‑hire sales training that covers MWT sales behaviors.
  • Collaborate on local events and promotions aligned with MWT and AT&T marketing.
  • Ensure all staff are trained on policies and procedures.
  • Resolve customer issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully operational retail environment.
  • Meet all AT&T compliance and merchandising requirements.
  • Review reporting for risks and take action as necessary.
  • Build positive relationships with coworkers, vendors, and partners.
  • Work nights, weekends, and travel as required.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma (BA or BS preferred or equivalent experience).
  • At least five years of sales experience, including 2+ years as a Wireless retail store manager.
  • Preferred: AT&T sales management experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of multi‑unit store management experience.
  • Experience developing and promoting sales consultants to store managers.
  • Demonstrated high ethical behavior, integrity, and character.
  • Experience in staff training and development.
  • Experience recruiting high‑quality, high‑potential employees.
  • Proficient in behavioral based selection processes.
  • Experience managing store marketing initiatives.
  • Experience delivering store merchandising and sales promotions.

    Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • High emotional intelligence.
  • Proficient in common business applications:
    Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent knowledge of all store operations for effective team training.
  • Professional balance of risk taking, judgment, and confidence.
  • Will ing to work 50+ hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of liability insurance.
