• Greet all guests and take beverage and food orders in a prompt and professional manner.
• Serve cocktails and/or menu items to bar guests and up-sell when taking orders.
• Maintain an energetic, outgoing, fun demeanor while remaining professional at all times.
• Provide outstanding, professional service with a smile to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively and clearly with co-workers and kitchen staff both verbally and via the point-of-sales system.
• Communicate with guests clearly, patient and with good humor.
• Be well-versed in all concept products and menu items to guide the guest experience and sell food and beverage items.
• Consistently check guests’ identification to verify minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption.
• Monitor guests’ behavior and alcohol consumption to determine when service should cease; notify management of excessive consumption or impaired condition.
• Complete all side work assigned.
• Accurately account for all sales and payments from guests.
• Alert management of any service and/or safety issues, and make appropriate service recovery gestures according to established guidelines.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
• Coordinate with bartenders and kitchen for ordering and receipt of food and beverages.

• At least 1 year of serving in a fast-paced food and beverage venue, preferably a nightclub environment.
• Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods and garnishes.
• Must meet state legal age requirements.
• Fluent in English; other languages preferred.
• Courteous, pleasant and good-natured.
• Strong communication skills when interacting with guests, bartenders, wait staff, cooks and supervisors.
• Valid alcohol awareness certification, food service permit or health/food handler card as required by local or state agency.
• Reading and writing abilities for taking orders, completing paperwork, etc.
• Basic math skills when handling cash and credit.
• May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

• Handle, carry or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds (barware, carts, boxes, bottles, etc.).
• Efficiently and safely stand and move about the entire facility during each shift.
• Handle food, objects, products and utensils effectively and safely.
• Will be required to bend, stoop, kneel and lift.
